On May 13, the Vienna Institute for Global Studies (VIGS) hosted the first AI & No-Code Hackathon in Central and Eastern Europe at the WeXelerate start-up hub in Vienna. This groundbreaking event brought together corporate managers, aspiring entrepreneurs, curious innovators, and students to explore how AI and no-code tools are transforming the way we approach digital innovation.
Throughout the day, participants collaborated in an innovative environment to experiment with bold ideas and push the boundaries of what’s possible without traditional programming. The hackathon became a launchpad for new skills, fresh perspectives, and unexpected connections, showing how far digital product development in 2025 can get without coding skills.

Facilitators & Mentors
- Adrian Pica is an Innovation and Product Leader with over a decade of experience building and scaling digital products across Europe, the US, and Asia. He held leadership roles at Bolt, Getsafe, and Potters Technologies, and co-founded PretulMeu.ro and 150sec.com. Adrian is also a startup mentor and frequent speaker at major tech conferences.
- Till Aufderheide, Head of Operations at VisualMakers, brings a background in analytics, consulting, and tech leadership. He focuses on creating scalable systems and expanding access to No-Code tools.
- Zoltan Csiba, Business Development Executive at Vox Sapiens, is a fintech entrepreneur focused on AI-driven product growth. He helps transform bold ideas into scalable, customer-centric solutions.
- Dr. Gergely Romhány is an entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience in business development, RPA, and AI. He has received multiple innovation awards and leads projects across automation and digital transformation.
